Wood Comb vs Plastic Comb

One of the significant differences between the plastic comb and the wooden comb is its static charge. The plastic comb has a positive electric charge while your hair has a negative electrical charge. Thus, while you comb your hair, it attracts your hair, causing a static charge. These charges dry out your hair, making it brittle. On the other side, the wooden comb generates no charge, being beneficial to your hair.

In addition, a wooden comb distributes natural oils from the scalp more easily throughout the entire hair strand because the oils are not sticking instead to the plastic of a regular comb.
